Titanium Grade 2 hex bolts are useful in a broad range of corrosive environments including salt water, acids, alkalis and other industrial chemicals.
These hex bolts offer excellent stiffness, toughness and a high strength, low-density combination. Additionally, they have outstanding corrosion resistance due to a strongly adherent, stable and protective oxide film which forms on Titanium Grade 2 when in the presence of oxygen. This film makes Titanium Grade 2 resistant to most oxidizing, neutral and inhibited reducing as well as mildly reducing environments.
