Inconel socket products are high-strength bolts that exhibit excellent corrosion resistance and can withstand extreme temperatures. Since the Inconel Socket Head Cap series has high corrosion-fatigue strength, high tensile strength, and resistance to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking it is used in many extreme environments such as submarines, propulsion motors, and the aerospace industry.
Inconel 600, 625 & 718 Properties
Inconel 600: Nickel-chromium alloy with good oxidation resistance at higher temperatures, with good resistance in carburizing and chloride-containing environments.
Inconel 625: Is a non-magnetic, corrosion - and oxidation-resistant, nickel-based alloy. Its outstanding strength and toughness in the temperature range cryogenic to 2000°F (1093°C). Can be used in a variety of extreme conditions from heat shields to special saltwater applications.
Inconel 718: Is a high-strength, corrosion-resistant nickel chromium material used at -423° to 1300°F. It can easily be fabricated and is used for everything from gas engine turbines to cryogenic tanks.
We carry a select style of Inconel hex bolts on our shelves. We can make Inconel bolts in standard and metric sizes. We also can make them as tap bolts (full thread) or standard hex bolts. KD Fasteners, Inc.™ can also make your Inconel bolts per print.
